In World Duel, you are shown 5 different locations from different parts of the world. Your goal is to guess the most accurate point on the map for the location you are shown.
For each location:
You are shown an image.
You examine the image and guess where it is.
You mark your guess on the map.
When you submit your guess, the actual location is revealed.
The closer you are to the actual location, the higher score you earn.
After 5 locations, your total match score is calculated.
You start searching for an opponent with the Join Duel option. When matched, you and your opponent play the same 5 locations.
You earn points based on your predictions at each location. After 5 locations, the player with the higher total score wins the duel.
Maximum of 30 seconds is spent searching for an opponent. If no opponent is found, Play Solo option opens.
In Solo mode, you play the same way by predicting 5 locations. However, since you're not playing against an opponent, the normal points you earn at the end of the match are divided by 3.
In each round, how close your prediction is to the Street View location is calculated.
Normal points: For each location, you earn 0–5,000 points. The closer you are to the location, the higher your score.
Solo: The normal total points you earn after 5 rounds are divided by 3.
PvP bonus: In matches where you play against an opponent, in addition to your normal points, you receive +5,000 points bonus.
The event starts every Friday at 8:00 p.m. (TSI) and ends on Sunday at 11:59 p.m. (TSI). After the event ends, the top 250 players on the leaderboard will receive special prizes.
Speed bonus only applies in PvP matches. In close predictions, it grants bonus points depending on how quickly you made your prediction:
First 30 seconds: +500 points
31–60 seconds: +250 points
Last 30 seconds: +100 points
If your location score is between 3,000–3,999, the speed bonus is halved. Below 3,000 points, no speed bonus is awarded.
The total of 5 rounds makes up your match score.
Energy is used to play World Duel:

Energy refreshes every 5 minutes. You can earn energy by watching ads if you want.
You can accumulate a maximum of 25 energy.
Your daily total energy gain is limited to 50.
