This additional slot is directly linked to the product initiated within it.
Working Principle and Example Scenario: Let’s assume you use this card to start researching the “Walnut” product in the additional slot while your current capacity is full. If the “Walnut” product research currently underway in your standard slots is completed during this time, the system allows you to start another standard research without requiring a new card. Unlike the R&D team logic in the old system, card usage is not tied to the number of slots but directly to the product assigned to that slot (e.g., Hazelnut). Until the Hazelnut research you initiated in the additional slot is completed, the research cycle in your standard slots continues normally without consuming any cards.
